Facebook Mania !!!!!

I was just thinking today that there are so many social networking sites these days like Facebook ,Twitter, Myspace,Orkut, Flicker etc. I have noticed that trend of these sites has been increasing drastically since last 2 years. Even it's said that every 8th person on the planet has facebook account. This is the height of popularity and still increasing!!

Facebook is like a viral these days. Not only among youths but old age person also. People can forget to wish good morning to their parents but not forget to update their status “good morning friends". Most common status are “feeling low”, " getting bore", need a break" , " i am happy due to this..." . People are so crazy to comment on others pictures and replying on their picks that they even forget that mummy is calling them, completely deaf. Actually commenting on others pick has a silent meaning that “NOW IT’S YOUR TURN TO COMMENT ON MY STATUS OR PICKS". They can forget even to look forward (on road) but keep watching on mobile screens. It’s not important to carry an umbrella in rainy season but it’s more important to carry phone charger with them to surf their respective site.

There are number of benefits of using these social networking sites like people are in contact with their friends 24*7. They can share their views about something. People are free to speak on every topic which is not possible otherwise. It’s the best way these days for companies to advertise their products. People can come to know about anything immediately that what’s new around and what are their views about something.

This is the best way to promote anything whether its about a product or any political campaign. People feel so close to their loved ones and celebrities that they know every little detail about them. People are always connected to their friends , doesn't matter what’s distance between them. Its just a click away these days!!.I have seen many love stories here. They started chatting and now got married; uploading picks of their kids. I have seen many naughty guys here searching for girlfriends. Now a day, teens don't like to run after a girl every day. They just have to know the name of the girl they like and just enter her name. It’s all now about their guts how to start conversation.

Besides these benefits, there are number of disadvantage of these. It’s just like that people have lost their private life. they sometimes upload their private picks and it creates a lot trouble for them. People are so much in surveillance of these sites that every little movement they know about us .These were created to get people in touch but these are being misused at a great extent. Some cheaters are active over there who always steal private data about people and misuse them. Terror activities are also active here. People upload some pictures and videos which are harmful for others sentiments.

So thing is that, everything in this world has advantages and disadvantages as well. Difference is in just our attitude that how we take and accept them. We have to be optimistic. We should avoid indulging in bad activities and should be careful whilst using them. One should not be too much addicted that he/ she is losing his/her focus on their main task. It’s good to be contact with friends but not good to take part in bad activities.
